Patrick Piper (Owner/Operator) is a classic-trained graduate of the San Diego Culinary Institute. He has acquired years of training “on the line” in Italian and Spanish restaurants with top chefs in Portland. Over the past two years he has owned and operated a food truck in Portland called When Pigs Fry; which resulted in his own unique BBQ creations and sauces. After two years of consistent 5 star reviews on Yelp for his food truck, Patrick was ready to bring the menu of When Pigs Fry to a brick and mortar setting – Thus the driving force behind Sellwood Public House.
